Description:

Summary: The Associate Benefits Analyst is responsible for consulting the Pension Plan and IAP Trust documents, interpreting the document, and preparing retirement benefits calculations including setting up their accounts for payment of retirement benefits in accordance with the rules of the trust. The Benefits Analyst will serve as a single point of contact to an assigned caseload of pension recipients for the entire retirement payment cycle for both the Pension Plan and the Individual Account Plan. Qualifications: · BA or BS degree in Business Administration and or equivalent experience. · 1 to 3 years of defined benefit plan experience preferred. · Familiarity with ERISA and DOL guidelines. · Experience with Sagitec pension administration software is a definite plus. · Strong mathematical skills. · Accurate typing of 45 wpm and 10-key by touch preferred. · MS Office skills - Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint at an advanced level. · Excellent oral and written communication skills. · Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills · Strong analytical and critical thinking skills · A high level of accuracy · Ability to accept direction and developmental guidance from supervisor · Ability to work with individuals at all levels · Excellent attendance and reliability a must · Ability to work extended hours as needed
